½ tsp. pepper.
dice carrots. cook in boiling salted water. reserve
the liquid. Melt crisco add flour pepper sugar
and when smooth add two cups boiling
stock in which carrots were cooked. stir until

## Ingredients
- 1 bunch carrots
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp Crisco
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp sugar
- Few grains ground nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp minced parsley
## Instructions
1. Dice carrots. Cook in boiling salted water. Reserve the liquid.
2. Melt Crisco, add flour, pepper, and sugar. Stir until smooth.
3. Add two cups boiling stock in which carrots were cooked.
4. Stir until the mixture thickens, then add carrots.
