# Choc-Chip Oatmeal Cookies
*Recipe from the kitchen of Carol*
## Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour *(if doubled, use 2 2/3 cups)*
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup shortening *(use 1/2 margarine)*
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- Chocolate chips
- 2 cups oatmeal *(less if doubled)*
- 1 tsp vanilla
## Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Combine ingredients and mix to form cookie dough.
3. Drop by spoonfuls onto baking sheet and bake at 350°F until done. - Creator
